Virtual Invitational

All athletes will compete live in home gyms.

(Please let us know if your gym has any time restrictions on competing in a virtual meet.)

​

• Home gyms with need to identify a coordinator that will coordinate with meet director about equipment, camera angles, filming, music, lighting and internet speed prior to meet and during meet.

​

• Filming must be from a stationary tablet or computer (not a cell phone)

​

•   We will be using Virtual Live Stream Format via Zoom with a backup video that each coach can record on phone using Flyp10 or individual cell phone that can be texted to judge

​

• Gyms must have access to Zoom. If you have a zoom account, make sure you have the latest version. If you do not have a zoom account, you can download client app on an ipad.

​

•  Judging panels will be virtual and will view routines in real time via Zoom. Routines will also be filmed using Flyp 10 if there is an internet problem during a routine with zoom for a backup.

​

• There will a two-judging panel and a separate meet referee.

​

• We will be utilizing Pro-Score for scoring and posting scores via MeetScores Online and

  MyUSAGym

​

*ATHLETE COVID REFUND POLICY*

If an athlete should miss an event due to COVID, a doctor’s note must be provided to receive a refund. The entry will be refunded minus the cost of the gymnast gift.

If WCU Gymnastics cancels an event, the entry fee will be refunded minus the cost of the gymnast gift. WCU Gymnastics will mail the gifts to the clubs.

• Gifts and Awards will be mailed or delivered to all participants

​

• WCU Gymnastics Ribbons will be given for all individual event winners (50%)

​

• Trophies will be given for 1st to 3rd place AA winners and WCU Gymnastics Ribbons will be

  given for the balance of 50%

​

• Team Banners will be given for team events (50%) 

​

• Awards will be announced by one of our WCU Gymnastics Athletes via our Instagram Live

  Page. Competition cannot be live streamed this way due to SafeSport Regulations, but awards can be announced this way!
